Right now, Bodhi Mente offers 2 private, air-conditioned villas, tucked in to the mountains of the Sierra Nevada. We're growing thoughtfully: a pool is planned to begin construction in 2027, with more amenities to follow as we expand.

Bodhi Mente is located at Km 39 Troncal del Caribe, Guachaca, Magdalena, Colombia.

We don't currently offer transport, but we can help you arrange it. Getting here is easy:

• Taxi — the simplest option, direct from the airport

• Moto bike taxi — very common in the area, a fun and affordable option if you're up for an adventure

• Bus — departs from Mercado and the main bus stations, and stops right outside Bodhi Mente

Yes, at this time we welcome children, accompanied by parents.

For the safety and comfort of all our guests, we don't allow outside pets on the property. That said, we have 5 resident rescue dogs who call Bodhi Mente home. If you're looking for a furry friend, they're always up for some love.

Yes — the beach is just a 10-minute drive, right down the street. You can hike down, or grab one of the moto bikes that pass by regularly for about 5,000 pesos. You can see the ocean from your villa!

We offer breakfast on site each morning, as part of your stay. We will confirm with you the night before if you will be joining us for breakfast. At this time, we do not have a full restaurant available, but there are many great restaurants in the area and delivery is also available on request.

Bodhi Mente sits on 32 acres of jungle mountain land within the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, A UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, where the mountains meet the sea.

Our villa interiors draw inspiration from mycelium and mushroom forms, woven through the colour palettes, lighting, and design. It's a space built to let the mind expand.

Each room can accommodate up to 4 adults, with 2 queen beds per villa. Surcharges apply for more than 2 guests.

Yes! We have Starlink wifi for reliable, high-speed service throughout the main property. Cell service is usually fairly reliable up in the mountains, though it can be a bit unpredictable in the general area.

Some ideas:

• Lightweight, breathable clothing

• A light rain jacket or poncho (tropical showers can pop up quickly if you’re out hiking)

• Comfortable hiking shoes or sandals with grip, for jungle terrain

• Insect repellent

• Sunscreen and sunglasses

• A reusable water bottle

• A light layer for cooler evenings in the mountains

• Swimwear

• Cash (small bills) for moto bikes and local spots, card is not accepted in many locals spots

• A sense of adventure — the roads and terrain are part of the experience
